The Chicago Bears agreed to a one-year deal with wide receiver Kendall Wright, according to published reports Saturday.

Bringing in Wright is the latest in a series of moves for the Bears, who allowed No. 1 wideout Alshon Jeffery to walk via free agency while releasing starting quarterback Jay Cutler. Wright's deal is worth $4 million, ESPN reported.

Wright, 27, spent the past five seasons with the Tennessee Titans, registering a career-low 29 receptions for 416 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games last season. He played in just 10 games in 2015, catching 36 passes for three scores.

A first-round pick (No. 20 overall) of the Titans in 2012, Wright appeared on his way to stardom after hauling in a career-high 94 receptions for 1,079 yards in his second season, although he reached the end zone only twice.

A possession receiver, Wright's numbers have regressed in each of the past three seasons. Chicago signed free-agent quarterback Mike Glennon from Tampa Bay and brought in wideout Markus Wheaton from Pittsburgh as replacements for Cutler and Jeffery.
