March 10 (UPI) -- One of the moves NFL fans have been waiting for appeared to be happening early Friday morning.

But Jimmy Garoppolo's 4:30 a.m. Instagram post was allegedly just as suspect as it appeared.

"So grateful for my time in New England. Peace out Boston," Garoppolo's post said.

The Cleveland Browns are rumored to be going after the New England Patriots backup quarterback. Cleveland has amassed a stockpile of draft picks to use as ammunition in a possible deal.

Garoppolo's post was later deleted. His agent Don Yee told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport that the quarterback's Instagram was hacked. Pro Football Talk reported: "people close to Garoppolo say he's not on Instagram at 4 a.m."

According to reports, there have not yet been trade talks between the Browns and Patriots in a possible Garoppolo deal.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday that the Browns won't be getting Garoppolo, "no matter what they offer," according to 97.1 FM The Fan.
