March 7 (UPI) -- There remains plenty of interest in a reunion between Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings.

But it definitely won't be at the $18 million he was due to make with his 2017 option. There are also several teams on his wish list for next season.

NFL Network's Stacey Dales reported Tuesday that two "desirable landing spots" for Peterson include landing with the Oakland Raiders or Seattle Seahawks. This isn't the first time the 31-year-old has been linked to the Raiders. Last week, ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that the Raiders were "catching the attention" of Peterson.

Peterson has also been linked to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Houston Texans, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and New England Patriots. The former NFL MVP led the league in rushing yards just two seasons ago.

The Raiders appear to be a better fit for Peterson, as he could get early down work to complement Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington. In Seattle's crowded backfield he would likely have to fight for carries with Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise.
