Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Who says one Gronkowski is more than enough for an NFL locker room?

Not the New England Patriots. The Super Bowl champions signed Glenn Gronkowski to a futures contract Tuesday.

The 24-year-old fullback has served on the Patriots' practice squad four different times. He made his NFL debut as a rookie free agent signing last year for the Buffalo Bills. Gronkowski was released in September after appearing in just one game for the Bills. The Patriots signed him to its practice squad initially on Oct. 1.

James Develin was the Patriots' top fullback option this season, but is currently a free agent. Gronkowski had five receiving touchdowns and one rushing score in three seasons at Kansas State.

Absolutely insane parade. Thanks to all the fan for coming out!! #gopats

Rob's other brothers, Chris and Dan, also had stints in the NFL with the Patriots, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, and Dallas Cowboys.
