Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced Tuesday that assistants Chris Hewitt, Mike Macdonald, Drew Wilkins and Juney Barnett have all been promoted for the 2017 season.

Hewitt will serve as the Ravens' secondary coach following the departure of Leslie Frazier, who was hired as the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills. Hewitt has been a Ravens assistant since the 2012 season.

Macdonald, a defensive assistant for the past two seasons, will be the defensive backs coach. Wilkins was promoted from defensive coaching assistant to assistant defensive line coach.

Barnett was elevated to strength and conditioning coach after spending the past five seasons as an assistant.

Baltimore (8-8) finished second in the AFC North and missed the playoffs in 2016.
