He confirmed the surgeries on Twitter, saying in part "PS I Already Had My Surgery And I'm Walking Already! Trust The Process ..."
Hooker is rated the top free safety and the No. 4 overall prospect for the draft by NFLDraftScout.com.
Hooker excelled last season as a third-year sophomore by intercepting seven passes and returning three of them for touchdowns. He recorded 74 tackles and was a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award, which is given to the nation's top defensive back.
The NFL scouting combine is Feb. 28-March 6 in Indianapolis. Hooker could attend the festivities to speak with NFL teams if he is unable to work out.
