Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise was ruled out for Saturday's divisional playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Prosise was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report, but the Seahawks were hoping the rookie could return to the field for the first time since sustaining a broken shoulder blade against the Philadelphia Eagles on Nov. 20.

Prosise, a third-round pick out of Notre Dame, carried 30 times for 172 yards and caught 17 passes for 208 yards in six games this season.

The Seahawks hope Prosise will be able to play next Sunday if Seattle advances to the NFC Championship Game.

Thomas Rawls is slated to be Seattle's main back against the Falcons.
