HOUSTON, Jan. 4 (UPI) -- On New Years Eve, 8-year-old Noah Fulmer was hospitalized after being hit by a truck in Matagorda Beach, just outside of Houston.
Fulmer, a 22-month old baby, and 31-year-old Thomas Villareal IV were flown to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston.
That is terrible, is he ok?

Tell him I'll bring him a new jersey tomorrow. https://t.co/jSYhbhxU1H
Fulmer could not stop crying because EMTs had to cut off his J.J. Watt jersey to investigate his injuries.

On Jan. 2, Watt heard the message loud and clear. He responded by tweeting: "That is terrible, is he ok? Tell him I'll bring him a new jersey tomorrow."
Watt arrived at the hospital Tuesday and surprised Fulmer after his surgery. Watt missed most of the 2016 season because he had a second back surgery in two months. The three-time Defensive Player of the Year played in just three games.
