Cleveland Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam sent a letter to season ticket holders apologizing for the 1-15 record in 2016.

"Clearly, this season has been a painful part of our building process" the letter read in part. "You deserve the best, and you certainly deserve better than a 1-15 team. We are sorry our results have not been better."

The Browns are 17-49 in the last four years of the Haslams' ownership.

--The Browns have the first and 12th picks in the first round of the 2017 draft. The first pick is their own. The 12th is from the Eagles in the trade that sent the second pick of 2016 to Philadelphia eight days before the draft.

--Finishing 1-15 not only earned the first pick for Cleveland, the Browns will also be coaching in the Senior Bowl. The Bears will be coaching the other team.

"I'm excited about coaching the Senior Bowl," Browns coach Hue Jackson said. "They really do an outstanding job of getting great players to participate in the game. Obviously, this can be really beneficial to our organization by spending a week coaching some of the best players in college football while we are preparing for the draft."

The Browns last coached in the Senior Bowl in 1993 when Bill Belichick was head coach.

--OL Cameron Erving suffered an MCL sprain in his left knee late in the game against the Steelers on Sunday. He will not require surgery, the Browns announced on Tuesday.

--WR Terrelle Pryor will have surgery on the knuckle at the base of the middle finger of his right hand on Wednesday. He played the last two games with the injury.

--RB Isaiah Crowell finished with 952 yards rushing. It is the highest total for a Browns running back since Peyton Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards in 2010.
