The Cleveland Browns waived offensive lineman Jonathan Cooper, the team announced Tuesday.

Offensive lineman Alvin Bailey, who was suspended the past two games for violating the league's substance abuse policy, will return to the active roster when his roster exemption expires Wednesday.

Cooper joined the Browns off waivers from New England prior to Week 6. He appeared in five games with the Browns and started the past three games at right guard.
