FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New York Jets quarterback Bryce Petty and tight Austin Seferian-Jenkins both left Sunday's game against the New England Patriots after suffering injuries in the first half.

Petty, off to a dreadful 0 of 3 start with an interception, injured his left shoulder diving to the ground to try to recover a Khiry Robinson fumble. Ryan Fitzpatrick replaced Petty and word came just after halftime that Petty would not return.

Seferian-Jenkins had one catch for 17 yards but also dropped a touchdown pass in the first half. He left with a hamstring injury and also was ruled out for the game.
