KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A pair of starters for the Tennessee Titans' defense have not returned in the second half after leaving with injuries earlier in the game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Starting cornerback Jason McCourty went down late in the first quarter with what the Titans termed a chest injury. Then, starting strong safety Da'Norris Searcy was walked off the field after a tackle of Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce and was being evaluated for a possible concussion. That happened in the second quarter.
No further word from the Titans on their status, but both players were not on the field for the initial defensive stand by Tennessee in the second half.
