PHOENIX, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Future Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is using the "we'll see" approach when it comes to returning for his 14th NFL season.
The Arizona Cardinals veteran has yet to confirm that he'll return to the team, or league, in 2017.

Cardinals general manager Steve Keim recently told AZ Sports 98.7 that he expects Fitzgerald to return next season.
Keim:. As far as Carson and Larry, the conversations I had with them in training camp I would be surprised if they didn't come back.

Fitzgerald, 33, needs just 12 catches in his final two games this season to eclipse his career-high total of 109 catches, which he achieved last season. He has 949 yards and five scores on 98 receptions in 14 contests. Fitzgerald signed a two-year, $22 million contract in 2015 and hits free agency this offseason.He is a nine-time Pro Bowl selection and former first-team All-Pro.
The Cardinals face the Seattle Seahawks at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 24 at CenturyLink Field.
