Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has settled two federal lawsuits with the former Florida State student who accused him of raping her in 2012.

John Clune, the lawyer for Erica Kinsman, told multiple news outlets the following: "The case has been resolved to the satisfaction of the parties."

Kinsman's lawsuit accusing Winston of sexual battery was scheduled for trial in April. Winston countersued Kinsman and that suit was also settled.

Settlement terms weren't immediately divulged.

Kinsman's claims against Winston became a national story at a time when the Seminoles were rolling toward a national championship. Though she accused Winston of rape in Dec. 2012, it was approximately a year later when the Florida state attorney investigated the matter.

Eventually, the decision was made not to pursue charges against Winston, who won the 2013 Heisman Trophy.

Kinsman went public with her story in Feb. 2015 in the documentary, "The Hunting Ground."

Kinsman settled a Title IX lawsuit against Florida State earlier this year when the university agreed to pay $950,000.

Winston was the No. 1 overall pick by the Buccaneers in 2015.
