Defensive tackle Kaleb Eulls was promoted from the practice squad to claim the roster spot of the 30-year-old Flowers, who collected 28 tackles and one interception in six games this season.

Flowers has 486 tackles, 21 interceptions and three sacks in 119 career games since being selected in the second round of the 2008 draft.

Eulls, 25, did not record a tackle while playing in four games last season with the New Orleans Saints.
