MIAMI, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Alshon Jeffery and A.J. Green could both return to the football field sooner than later. But should you start them?

Taking risks is part of fantasy football, but managing that risk appropriately can mean the difference between a win and a loss.

To help you figure out who to sit or start at the position, and give you a shot at getting to the fantasy football championship, take a look at my top 50 wide receivers for Week 15. You can also view my add/drops for the week and more positional rankings in the links below.

TOP SHELF

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins scored his first touchdown of the season last week. His snaps have ramped up and the Bills are hosting the Cleveland Browns. Watkins could break into WR1 territory this week, but is safely a WR2 for the remainder of the season. He had 54 yards on four receptions last week and is booked for a huge Week 15. The Browns have allowed the third-most touchdowns to wide receivers.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been a very welcomed spark for his team's offense. The Chiefs battle the Tennessee Titans in Week 15, a defense allowing the most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers. Hill touches the ball in so many different situations, meaning he has more opportunities to reward you with fantasy points. Last week's Week 14 explosion marked the second time this season he has scored an offensive and return touchdown in the same game. I have a hunch that Hill puts up WR1 numbers in this spot.

SNEAKY PLAYS

San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers must turn to wide receiver Tyrell Williams this week against the Oakland Raiders. Without Melvin Gordon and a reliable rushing attack, Rivers will be forced to throw in this AFC West bout. Williams had scored in four consecutive games going into his Week 14 contest. He is always a threat to score and should be very active in this matchup. The Raiders are allowing the fifth-most receiving yards to wide receivers. Williams is a WR1.

If you were lucky enough to snipe Alshon Jeffery off of the waiver wire, this could be the week to use him. I have Jeffery ranked as a WR2 in deeper leagues against the Green Bay Packers. Jeffery should have fresh legs after sitting out for a month due to a suspension. The Packers are allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Jeffery should put up WR2 numbers in this bout.

LONGSHOTS

Washington Redskins speedster DeSean Jackson is always a boom-or-bust play, but he has been pretty consistent lately. I like Jackson as a WR2 in deeper leagues this week against a Carolina Panthers secondary allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to wide receivers. Jackson is always a threat to break loose. He has three touchdowns in his last four games and exploded for 102 yards and a score on just three catches last week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson is a WR2/WR3 this week.

Eagles wide receiver Jordan Matthews was unimpressive last week, but was nursing an injury. With another week of rest, I expect Matthews to take advantage of a Baltimore Ravens defense allowing the most touchdowns to opposing wide receivers. Even if Matthews doesn't score, he will be a reliable target for quarterback Carson Wentz. Matthews is a WR3 in this matchup.
