HOUSTON, Dec. 9 (UPI) -- Former Wisconsin star J.J. Watt only knows Badgers red when it comes to his Big Ten support.

But on Friday, he was literally the biggest Penn State Nittany Lions fan possible. Watt was splashed with blue and white after losing a bet to Houston Texans teammate Devon Still.

Still attended Penn State, while Watt played for the Badgers. The Nittany Lions beat the Badgers Saturday 38-31 in the Big Ten Championship. Watt's brother T.J. currently plays outside linebacker for the Badgers.

"A bet is a bet," Watt tweeted. "Best wishes to your boys in the Rose Bowl."

The Nittany Lions face the University of Southern California Trojans at 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The Badgers battle the Western Michigan Broncos at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 2 in the Cotton Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Watt, 27, had back surgery and is out for the season. The four-time All-Pro and three-time Defensive Player of the Year had one tackle and 1.5 sacks in three games in 2016.
