DENVER, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Despite the Denver Broncos' dedication to the running game, you should look elsewhere for a fantasy football starter.
I will enjoy the rest of the season cheering on my teammates as we win another super bowl— 3KingBibbs5 (@KapriBibbs) December 5, 2016Advertisement
Kapri Bibbs is now droppable in all fantasy football leagues, after the Broncos put him on inured reserve Monday. Bibbs had looked like the big-play running back behind rookie Devontae Booker. He ends his season with 204 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 31 touches. Bibbs left the Broncos' Week 13 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars with a high ankle sprain. He piled up 49 yards on five carries before his exit. Bibbs was spotted wearing a boot after the game.
Mike Klis, of 9 News Denver, said that before Bibbs' injury, Booker was about to be "overtaken" by his backup. Booker is not a reliable option, even with the added carries. He had just 37 yards and a touchdown on 19 touches against the Jaguars. Booker has 653 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns on 165 touches this season.
Bummer for Bibbs. He was about to overtake Booker in my estimation, when he went down with ankle sprain. #9sports— Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) December 5, 2016
