Atlanta Falcons' Jake Matthews suffers knee injury

ATLANTA - Atlanta Falcons left tackle Jake Matthews had to leave Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs in the second quarter after injuring his left knee.

Matthews was taken to the locker room and his return was listed as questionable.

Taken sixth overall in the 2014 NFL Draft, Matthews was the Falcons' first-round pick that year out of Texas A&M and he has been a regular throughout his NFL career.

Tom Compton, a fourth-year veteran out of South Dakota, replaced Matthews.
