New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice Friday after missing the previous two days with a knee issue.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick declined to elaborate on Brady's status for Sunday's road game against the New York Jets.

"We'll list Tom on the injury report like we always do, like everybody else," Belichick told reporters Friday. "Is that the answer you were hoping for? ... OK, good. I don't want to disappoint you."

Reporters were present at practice for part of the team's warm-up and Brady appeared to be moving without restriction, according to ESPN.com.

Brady is dealing with a knee injury, according to the injury report this week following the Patriots' 30-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers last Sunday. Brady missed back-to-back practices this week for the first time since the 2010 season.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski (chest injury) practiced on a limited basis for the third straight day after missing last Sunday's game.
