The third-year pass-catcher told coach Rex Ryan Monday that he feels "fantastic," according to reports. Watkins, 23, has yet to be cleared by trainers, but he is active to return from injured reserve for Week 12. Watkins had nine touchdowns and 1,047 yards on 60 receptions last season. He put up those stats in 13 games. Through two games this season, he had 63 yards and did not score on six receptions.

On Nov. 5, Ryan said that he is "hoping" Watkins could return from injured reserve, according to ESPN.
Watkins does not need another foot surgery and shed his walking boot last month. He had surgery this spring, but his foot has been bothering him since training camp.
The Bills host the Jacksonville Jaguars in a juicy Week 12 battle at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Watkins also has a beautiful schedule down the stretch if he returns by Week 12, with battles against the Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, and New York Jets. That slate sets the table for WR1 production.
