SEATTLE, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- It looks like Christine Michael's days as the Seattle Seahawks' lead back are over.

Running back Thomas Rawls is "ready to go" and "will practice to play" this week, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told 710 ESPN's Liz Mathews. The 23-year-old will enter a timeshare with Michael and C.J. Prosise, but I expect Michael to see the biggest dip in workload, due to his skill set and lack of production on a yards-per-carry basis.

"[Rawls] looked really fast and confident in making his breaks and moves," Carroll said, according to ESPN's Sheil Kapadia. "He practiced throughout the week. It was a really good week for Thomas coming back. You couldn't see anything that was bothering him at all. So it was really, really positive."

Rawls has been limited in practice recently as he nurses a fibula injury. Carroll said last week that he could return for Week 11 action, according to Stephen Cohen of SeattlePI.

If Rawls is still available in your league, go pick him up now or put in a waiver claim for him Wednesday. With quarterback Russell Wilson heating up, Rawls could be a solid RB2 down the stretch. Rawls has 25 touches for 66 yards from scrimmage this season. Last year, he ran for 830 yards and four touchdowns on 147 carries. He also had 76 yards and a score on nine receptions.

The Seahawks battle the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday, but have a difficult schedule ahead. Rawls will see a brutal slate including: the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, and Arizona Cardinals.
