CHICAGO, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- The NFL suspended Chicago Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery for four games Monday, for violating the league's performance enhancing drugs policy.

Jeffery's fantasy value takes a huge hit, as the elite pass catcher wont be eligible to return to the football field until Week 15. Jeffery, 26, was staying remarkably healthy this season, despite an extensive injury history. The WR1 had 630 yards and a touchdown on 40 receptions in nine games for the Bears. Jeffery is due to hit free agency next season and is playing on a $14.5 million franchise tag this season.

He is droppable in most leagues, especially if you are a team fighting for a playoff spot. Jeffery's four-game ban will also cost him $3.435 million this season and more in the offseason, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
