CHICAGO, Nov. 14 (UPI) -- November isn't being kind to the Chicago Bears.

On Monday, following its month-opening loss Sunday to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it found out it would be without right guard Kyle Long for the rest of the season and without wide receiver Brandon Marshall for four weeks. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that an MRI confirmed the news of Long's departure.

Long, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, was carted off of the field Sunday after suffering a right ankle injury. The Bears (2-7) have Long under contract through 2021 on a six-year, $50.3 million deal.

The Bears face the New York Giants at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at MetLife Stadium.
