CINCINNATI, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Just like in fantasy football leagues, NFL teams are always looking for healthy running backs.

The Cincinnati Bengals worked out fullback Marcel Reece Wednesday, according to NESN. The New England Patriots and New York Jets have also looked the 31-year-old, since the Oakland Raiders released him on Sept. 26.

Reece was suspended for the first three weeks of the season for a PED violation and did not receive the remainder of his $2.6 million salary from the Raiders. The versatile three-time Pro Bowl selection has 2,859 yards and 15 touchdowns on 388 career touches.

Third-year fullback Ryan Hewitt currently tops the Bengals depth chart. The Stanford product has 185 yards and has never scored on 18 career receptions. He has just one rushing attempt for zero yards. Hewitt is under contract through 2019.
