With third-down back C.J. Prosise healthy and playing, the #Seahawks released RB CJ Spiller, they announced.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) October 26, 2016
Spiller's presence is likely a move for depth behind Matt Forte and Bilal Powell. The Seahawks signed Spiller to a one-year contract on Sept. 28, before releasing him on Oct. 26. Spiller, 29, has 52 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on eight touches this season. Last season in New Orleans, Spiller had 351 yards from scrimmage and two scores on 70 touches.
You're not going to believe this... but the #Jets are planning to release RB Knile Davis (again) as they finalize a deal for RB CJ Spiller.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 1, 2016
Spiller is not worth a spot on your roster in any fantasy football league format.
