ATLANTA, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- One of the top waiver wire pickups for Week 8 will be a surprise inactive Sunday. Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported that Green Bay Packers wide receiver/running back Ty Montgomery is out for the team's Week 8 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. Glazer confirmed that wide receiver Randall Cobb will also miss the game with a hamstring injury.

Montgomery, 23, was limited in practice this week because of an "illness." NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported earlier Sunday that Montgomery "will play."

Montgomery has been an integral piece filling in for the injured Eddie Lacy. He has 66 yards on 14 carries and 164 yards on 20 receptions in six games. Look for Davante Adams to have another huge game opposite Jordy Nelson. Expect Knile Davis and Don Jackson to have an increased workload, but I don't recommend starting either player yet.
Adams can be started as a WR2.
