CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 12 (UPI) -- Superman might be back for the Carolina Panthers.
Quarterback Cam Newton returned to practice Wednesday after sitting out the Panthers' Week 5 loss because of a concussion. Newton received the concussion in the fourth quarter of the Panthers' Oct. 2 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He will be cleared to play in Sunday's contest against the New Orleans Saints if concussion symptoms don't return.
