DALLAS, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Could the Dallas Cowboys actually get a boost after sending one of its offensive linemen to injured reserve?

Football fans will soon find out. The team added left guard La'El Collins to injured reserve Monday for a sprained big toe.

Ronald Leary is expected to move back into the lineup, after starting four games at the position in 2015 and earning 31 starts at left guard from 2013 through 2014 for the Cowboys.

Collins left the Cowboys' win against the Chicago Bears about halfway through the game Sunday night. He is expected to miss 8 to 10 weeks, according to some reports. David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reported that Collins could be out 10 to 12 weeks after surgery.
