MIAMI, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- We are three weeks into the fantasy football season. After making your weekly free agent pick ups and scanning your lineup for news and injuries, it's time to sit down and look at your match ups and who you should start.

The quarterback position is match-up dependent, once you get past the four or five elite options. Here are my top 20 quarterbacks for this week. You can also look at my top add/drops for the week and visit other positional rankings, in the links below.

TOP SHELF

Green Bay Packers superstar Aaron Rodgers, New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees, and Indianapolis Colts' Andrew Luck are primed for huge weeks. Rodgers is battling a Detroit Lions defense allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to wide quarterbacks this season. Brees' Saints battle the Atlanta Falcons, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks in 2016. Luck's Colts face a depleted San Diego Chargers squad allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. I love Rodgers every week, but this week he should obliterate the Lions at Lambeau Field. Since 2013, Rodgers has thrown 51 touchdowns and five interceptions at home against 36 touchdowns and 15 interceptions on the road. I see Brees putting up several touchdowns after his underwhelming Week 2 performance against the New York Giants. The Falcons aren't the type of defense that can keep the Saints under 14 points for back-to-back weeks, even at the Georgia Dome.

SNEAKY PLAYS

Baltimore Ravens gunslinger Joe Flacco should feast on the Jacksonville Jaguars, a secondary which has allowed six touchdowns and has zero interceptions through two games. Look for Flacco to keep greasing the wheel with Mike Wallace and Steve Smith. I think Flacco is a start in any league this week and a top-10 fringe start for the rest of the year. Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota faces the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders have allowed the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season. Some of Mariota's pass-catching options are also interesting waiver wire additions.

LONGSHOTS

Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill and Houston Texans' Brock Osweiler are both players who could be starters in deeper leagues this week. Tannehill finally found top target Jarvis Landry last week in a near comeback against the New England Patriots. This week he gets a match up against the Cleveland Browns. I expect a rare end zone sighting for Landry this week and Tannehill's connection with tight end Jordan Cameron to improve in the Dolphins' 2016 home debut. Osweiler has terrific weapons for big plays and I expect many more of those, even though he has a match up in Foxborough. This could be the Patriots' first loss of the season, as its main offensive weapons will come from its running game. I don't think that offense can keep pace with Lamar Miller, DeAndre Hopkins, and Will Fuller.
