SEATTLE, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- In another edition of murky NFL backfields, the Seattle Seahawks re-named Thomas Rawls as its starter heading into Week 2.
Rawls, who is coming back from a 2015 ankle injury, played behind Christine Michael in the Seahawks' Week 1 win against the Miami Dolphins. But Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was firm in his statement about who would carry the load this weekend, when he named Rawls the starter.
