BUFFALO, N.Y., Sept. 12 (UPI) -- Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins didn't quite look like himself Sunday.
Watkins, who had a stretch of six touchdowns in four games in 2015, had just 43 yards on six catches against the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens beat the Bills 13-7.
NFL Network National Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Watkins will have to tough it out, despite earlier reports of the wide receiver having to take time off.
"WR Sammy Watkins will likely have to play through pain this year. Nothing surgically to do. Bills don't plan on shutting him down," Rapoport tweeted.

On Monday, the New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reported that Watkins "could be shut down for several weeks" due to "severe discomfort" in his foot.
On Sunday, ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported that Watkins is "not 100 percent after undergoing offseason foot surgery."
Watkins, 23, had 60 receptions for 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns last season. He remains a high-end WR2 with weekly WR1 upside.
