BEREA, Ohio, Aug. 23 (UPI) -- Despite not taking an NFL snap since 2014, Josh Gordon is a wanted man in NFL front offices.

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported Tuesday morning that "multiple teams have reached out to the [Cleveland] Browns to inquire about the availability" of the wide receiver.

"A Browns team source said they are not looking to trade Gordon," Schefter reported. "Cleveland has tried to establish an environment in which Gordon could thrive, and many around league believe Hue Jackson would be the right coach for him. Nonetheless, it will be Interesting to see if any team is willing to part with enough to get the Browns interested."

Gordon came into Browns camp a little overweight but has been shedding pounds. He was recently removed from the NFL's non-football injury [NFI] list. He is suspended for the first four games of the 2016 season for violating the league's drug policy.

Gordon, 25, is set to play this preseason on Friday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"He still looks the exact same and it's just crazy,'' cornerback Joe Haden told Cleveland.com. "He looks a little bigger. I don't know how that happened, but he's still out there running around, looking the same, running his routes, floating. It still looks effortless.''

Gordon led the NFL with 1,646 receiving yards in 2013, but has been suspended for 27 of his previous 32 games.
