BALTIMORE, July 20 (UPI) -- Imagine playing in your Monday night men's volleyball league, when suddenly NFL superstar Cam Newton and his teammates ask to join in.

That's exactly what happened this week in Baltimore. On Monday, Newton, Joe Webb, Ted Ginn Jr., Stephen Hill, Damiere Byrd, Avius Capers, Miles Shuler, Tobais Palmer, Braxton Deaver, Scott Simonson, and Beau Sandland showed up at Baltimore Beach to play beach volleyball.

The NFL MVP is currently training at the Under Armour facility before the Carolina Panthers begin camp on July 27 in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
