DALLAS, July 19 (UPI) -- His front license plate reads: "The Bentley," but despite being able to afford the luxury car, Alfred Morris drives a 1991 Mazda 626.

Morris bought the car from his pastor for $2 when he was in college at Florida Atlantic University, according to Five Points Blue. The veteran running back signed a two-year, $3.5 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys this off-season. He pocketed more than $3 million after four seasons in Washington.

"Yes, I still have my car," Morris told Five Points Blue. "I still drive 'Bentley' which is what I call my car even though she's not really a Bentley. It's always going to be my baby and I'm going to drive it 'til she dies."

Morris' silver sedan was shipped from Washington, D.C., to Dallas when he swapped teams. A few years ago, Morris wrote on Instagram about how Mazda refurbished his ride.

"Wow @MazdaUSAstripped my baby bare! Hopefully its worthwhile when I get her back#AlfredsMazda," Morris wrote.

Mazda repaired his air conditioner, replaced his AM-FM tape deck with a touch screen, and changed his cloth seats to leather. Morris made news last season when he rode a bicycle to work in Washington.

Morris, 27, is expected to compete with Darren McFadden for the backup running back gig for the Cowboys. He ran for 751 yards and one touchdown, on 202 carries last season in Washington.
