DENVER, July 15 (UPI) -- Their eyes bulged at the free agency dollars handed out by the NBA this summer, but now it's the NFL players' time to cash in.

One of the biggest story lines has focused on Super Bowl 50 MVP and Denver Broncos defensive dynamo Von Miller. Miller threatened to sit out the 2016 season if he wasn't signed long-term. He vowed that he wouldn't play under the franchise tag.
