NEW ORLEANS, May 23 (UPI) -- Former San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Brown left his New Orleans Saints workout with a contract, according ESPN's Adam Caplan.
Brown, 27, has just 13 catches in eight games in the last two seasons. The Saints released Marques Colston in February. The Chargers waived Brown in December.
The Chargers drafted Brown out of San Diego State with the No. 82 overall selection in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He was never able to surpass his two-touchdown total during his rookie season. Brown has 73 career receptions for 941 yards and three touchdowns in 38 career games for the Chargers and Oakland Raiders.

The Saints also drafted Ohio State product Michael Thomas in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Hakeem Nicks, Denarius Moore and Nathan Palmer also worked out for the Saints.
