FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 13 (UPI) -- Police were after Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason after he failed to appear for a hearing Monday in Broward County, Florida.

After skipping out on criminal court, a warrant has been issued for Mason's arrest, according to TMZ Sports.

Mason, 22, was arrested last month for "suspicion of possession of marijuana, reckless driving, failure to register a motor vehicle, and resisting arrest," according to Pro Football Talk.

The Rams used a third round pick to draft the Auburn product in the 2014 NFL Draft. Mason has 254 career carries, for 972 yards and five touchdowns. He signed a four-year, $2.9 million deal in 2014.

Mason was held on $1,500 bond.
