HOLLYWOOD, April 13 (UPI) -- Veteran NFL stars know that the best offseason is a quiet offseason.

Johnny Manziel has been a walking news story since the close of football season.

Uncertainly surrounds Manziel's living situation, as the quarterback was first rumored to be roommates with Super Bowl MVP Von Miller. Miller has since denied the report, and Manziel may or may not be roommates with the again-suspended Josh Gordon.

On Saturday Manziel was the passenger in a car driven by Ryan Silverstein, before the car smacked into a light pole, according to USA Today. Manziel and Silverstein left the scene of the accident, leading to a hit and run investigation, according to TMZ Sports. Manziel later returned to the scene and was interviewed by police about the crash, which occurred at 10:45 p.m. on the Sunset Strip.

Manziel, 23, has not been charged with a crime. The accident occurred the same night that Manziel said he lived with Miller. Manziel was allegedly picked up from the scene by Josh Gordon, according to TMZ.

The Cleveland Browns cut Manziel in March.
