LOS ANGELES, March 28 (UPI) -- After losing its NFL franchise to Los Angeles, the last thing St. Louis needs is a low blow reminder.

But that's what Los Angeles based clothing company Popular Demand supplied, high above a Hollywood intersection, in the form of a billboard.

The company, founded by Blake Ricciardi, purchased a billboard that reads: "Los Angeles > St. Louis. Welcome to LA, guys."

Popular Demand included its logo prominently at the bottom of the message, on the blue and gold sign.

"Our latest billboard is now up! Los Angeles Ram's stars Todd Gurley, Trumaine Johnson, Tavon Austin are all homies, so what better way to welcome the guys than a billboard in the middle of the busiest intersection in Hollywood?"

"Over a million people will drive past this billboard and now they know how we're feeling about the Rams big move. I can't imagine St. Louis is going to be too happy with this one, but we love our city. #NoApologies#BlakeRicciardiTakeover #PopularDemand," Ricciardi posted on Instagram last week.

The billboard is located on Highland Ave. and Franklin Ave.
