SEATTLE, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has won many games, trophies and fans along the way, but that certainly doesn't win over Seattle Seahawks fans.

The former Heisman-Trophy-National Championship-rookie of the year-winner could win the regular season MVP, Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP in one spectacular season.

But Andrew Tilton of Seattle doesn't care for Newton or his "unprofessional" and "unsportsmanlike" ways, so he started a petition to ban him from CenturyLink Field.

The petition has 269 supporters and its letter to the Seahawks reads: "Ban Cam Newton from Century link field. He is one of the most unsportsmanlike quarterbacks in the NFL and deserves to be banned from Century Link Field. He dislikes Washington as a whole anyways, so why not move to make this possible."

Tilton added on the site: "Cam Newton is one of the most unprofessional, unsportsmanlike individual on the face of the planet. So I say for the 2016-2017 when the Panthers come to play in Seattle he should be banned from entering the stadium. This should teach him to put his arrogance in check!!"

Tilton looks like he is also trying to get a trend started, with the hashtag: #BantheCam

The Panthers were crushing Seattle 31-0 at halftime in its 31-24 divisional round playoff game on Jan. 17 in Charlotte. Newton made some news after the game, when he threw a Seahawks '12th Man' flag to the ground in celebration.

Seattle defeated Carolina last year in the playoffs by a score of 31-17 to advance to its second Super Bowl in a row.
