BUFFALO, N.Y., Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Carolina Panthers center Ryan Kalil has more important things to think about than a Hawaiian vacation.

Kalil ducked out of the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl, making room for Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood.

Wood will join Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor, who will replace Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, the team reported Monday. The Pro Bowl is Sunday, Jan. 31, a week before the Panthers face off against the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl 50.

Wood, 29, was selected No. 28 overall by the Bills in the 2009 NFL Draft out of Louisville.
