CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 18 (UPI) -- Dwight Schrute might want to stick to bears, beets and 'Battlestar Galactica.'

Actor Rainn Wilson, who played the paper company employee Schrute on NBC's 'The Office,' chipped in some words via Twitter prior to the Carolina Panthers' 31-24 victory Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

In the Saturday tweet, Wilson said: "Can we just fast-forward to the inevitable Seahawks/Pats Super Bowl already!"

The Panthers responded to Wilson Sunday after the win with: "This is why Dwight was the Assistant TO the Regional Manager."

Minutes after receiving the response, Wilson, a Seahawks fan, wrote: "Congrats to the Carolina Preeners on a great 1st half! Now go win the Super Bowl. I'm rooting for u to demolish the Pats!"

The Panthers host the Arizona Cardinals at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24 in the NFC Championship at Bank of America Stadium.
