Dallas Cowboys' Dez Bryant punched in face

By Alex Butler

DALLAS, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant lost an earring and maybe a little dignity Tuesday in a scrimmage skirmish.

Bryant and the Cowboys were facing the St. Louis Rams in a joint practice. Bryant was involved in a dustup with a teammate earlier this off-season on the practice field.

During this big brawl, you can see Bryant get clocked in the face. Many onlookers captured the event, with NBC 5's Pat Doney even grabbing a video of Bryant having his diamond earring returned by a security guard.

After the fight, Bryant sent then deleted a tweet profiling the event.

"I wish I would have cheap shot his [expletive] then all of y'all would have seen the difference ... You can't even put that [expletive] on world star lol," Bryant tweeted.

Another angle of the video caught the Cowboys' Randy Gregory taking down Rams running back Tre Mason.

Bryant and the Cowboys reached an agreement for five years and $70 million this off-season, after Bryant threatened a holdout.
