PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 6 (UPI) -- Some ruffled feathers forced downed Philadelphia Eagles Thursday at training camp.

Newly added linebacker Kiko Alonso had a concussion during Tuesday's open practice at Lincoln Financial Field. The Eagles were off on Wednesday, but Alonso also sat out Thursday, according to Philly.com.

DeMarco Murray doesn't have a serious illness, but he did not take park in team drills Sunday because his "hydration levels were off," coach Chip Kelly told Philly.com.

The Eagles resume practice Friday at the NovaCare Complex. Alonso cannot return to practice until he passes the NFL's mandatory concussion protocol.

The Eagles traded running back LeSean McCoy, 26, to the Buffalo Bills for Alonso this offseason. Alonso, 24, missed last season because of a torn ACL.
