May 28 (UPI) -- Washington Wizards star guard Russell Westbrook was listed as questionable for Game 3 of his team's first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers after failing to practice Friday.

Westbrook rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter of the Wizards' 120-95 loss to the 76ers in Game 2 on Wednesday night and didn't return. He tweaked the same ankle earlier in the game as he battled 76ers star Ben Simmons on defense.

As Westbrook retreated to the locker room to receive treatment, a 76ers fan poured popcorn on his head. The fan was ejected for the incident and later banned for life by the 76ers.

Wizards head coach Scott Brooks told reporters that Westbrook will test the ankle Saturday morning to determine whether he is able to play.

"He's always tried to put himself in the best position to play, but we'll see how he feels [Saturday]," Brooks said.

Westbrook has struggled in the series as the Wizards trail 2-0 in the best-of-seven affair. He has made just 9 of 27 shots against the Sixers and is averaging only 5.5 rebounds -- less than half of his regular-season average. He also is averaging 13 points and 12.5 assists.

The nine-time NBA All-Star selection averaged 22.2 points, 11.7 assists and 11.5 rebounds in the regular season.

The Wizards are scheduled to play the 76ers on Saturday night at Capital One Arena.
