May 23 (UPI) -- Former Murray State guard and NBA Draft prospect Ja Morant had a forgettable performance trying to name items from the 1990s.
Morant, who was born in August 1999, played "Name the '90s with ESPN. The game's goal was to see if Morant could name products that either no longer are used or trends that were a staple of the decade.
Among the items were a cassette tape, floppy disk and the Sony Walkman.
Morant recognized many of the products and what they were used, for was stumped when he had to name the product. Morant recognized a VCR player as something that played videos, but guessed DVDs instead of tapes.
"It looks like you can play games on it," Morant said of the Tamagotchi gaming system.
Morant called his performance "bad" when asked to evaluate how he did.
"It's OK, you were born in 1999," ESPN responded.
Morant is projected to be a top-five pick in next month's NBA Draft. He led the NCAA in assists last season and was named a first-team All-American.
