Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Toronto Raptors star Kawhi Leonard had the last word against the Brooklyn Nets, hitting a game-winner with a fade-away off the glass in the final seconds.

Brooklyn and Toronto were deadlocked at 125-125 with 7.4 seconds remaining when Leonard went to work on Monday at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Kyle Lowry bounced a pass into forward before Leonard rolled to his right and drew two defenders.

Nets 6-foot-11 center Jarrett Allen attempted to bother Leonard as he looked for an open shot and the seconds ticked off of the clock. Leonard then opted for a fade-away. He elevated and released the shot from a very high angle.

The ball clanked off of the window at just the right angel and fell through the rim. D'Angelo Russell then missed a desperation 3-point attempt for the Nets, making Leonard's shot the clincher.

"I was playing around and telling the guys I called game like Paul Pierce did on his little interview," Leonard told reporters. "I really didn't think about it at the time. I just went to a spot where I saw some space and I shot the ball."
