Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Victor Oladipo had a big-time dunk attempt denied by a Justin Anderson block during the Indiana Pacers' win against the Atlanta Hawks.

The non-dunk occurred in the final seconds of the third quarter during the Pacers' 129-121 victory on Wednesday at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Indiana led 95-88 at the time.

Oladipo picked the ball up after a Hawks possession and sprinted down the court, going coast-to-coast as he reached the paint. He weaved through several defenders and appeared to have a clear lane as he took flight.

Oladipo put the ball in his right hand and pulled it back for an emphatic throw down, but Anderson stepped in late. The 6-foot-6 swingman used his left hand to send the ball flying to Oladipo's left, far from his intended target.

Anderson had just two points, two rebounds and an assist, in addition to the block. Oladipo posted 16 points and had seven rebounds and seven assists in the win. Thaddeus Young led the Pacers with 21 points.

Kent Bazemore poured in a game-high 32 points for the Hawks. Dewayne Dedmon had 18 points and 15 rebounds in the win.
