Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Zach LaVine had something unkind to say to the rim during the Chicago Bulls' loss to the Sacramento Kings.

The Bulls shooting guard took out his frustration with an angry slam dunk in the first quarter of the 108-89 loss on Monday at the United Center in Chicago. The Bulls led the Kings 16-14 when LaVine dribbled down the floor above the 3-point arc. He tossed his dribble into the paint and chased down the ball before collecting it and soaring through the air with the ball in his right hand.

LaVine pulled the ball back before slicing his arm forward and heaving the ball through the net.

The Bulls star had a team-high 19 points, five rebounds and three assists in the loss. De'Aaron Fox led the Kings with 25 points. He also had six assists, four rebounds and four steals in the win.

LaVine, 23, is averaging a career-high 23.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this season for the Bulls. He has 33 dunks on the season, putting him on pace for a career-high in slams. He totalled 52 dunks during the 2015-16 season, when he last played in 82 games.
